About

A Pottstown shop, run by Pottstown people

Blades Edge Unisex Salon sits at 272 Walnut Street, a few blocks from High Street. It's owned and run by Pottstown High School grads who cut hair for men, women and kids — and who treat the town like family because it is.

The Cutathon

Nine years of free back-to-school cuts

Every August, Tony Betts Jr., Tiffany Betts, Cory Sowers and the whole crew open the doors and give more than 100 Pottstown students a free haircut and a bag of school supplies before the first day of school. 2026 was the ninth year. The Mercury covered it; the kids just remember walking into school sharp.

Blades Edge was also named a micro-business grantee by the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation.
